Home Depot Kid's Workshops
I know I have mentioned the Lowe's workshops for kids, but Home Depot has them too. Home Depot's are the first Saturday of each month. In my honest opinion, they are more difficult than Lowe's, so if you aren't real handy, have your child go with someone who is. I seem to always put the darn thing together backwards. My daughter will go with her PawPaw this weekend for this project.
No signups necessary, but that also means first come, first served. The workshops are 9-12, but I try to get there by 10, just to be safe. My local store ALWAYS runs out by about 11am.
Kids will get an apron, goggles, and the project. Once completed, they will receive a certificate and an achievement pin.
